Synthetic Rubber Adhesive

Yellow 4 is Super Bond’s pioneering initiative in India. This new breed of eco-friendly adhesive is formulated using special polymers that impart special properties of quick tack development and higher coverage. Its low viscosity with high proportion of solids gives higher coverage on surfaces (average 25% higher) and superior bond strength.

Method of Application

Make sure that the surfaces to be bonded are even, clean, dry and free from grease/oil. A coat of adhesive is to be applied uniformly on both the surfaces to be joined. Porous substrates like leather may require tow coats for superiors bonding. Wait for 8 – 10 minutes to allow the solvent to evaporate. Place the coated surfaces one above the other while the adhesive remains sticky. Press the surfaces firmly together. Final strength is to be achieved after 24 hrs.

Caution

It is highly inflammable. Replace lid immediately after partial use. Store in a cool and dry place.

This adhesive is designed for fixing laminates, woods, boards, fabric, leather clothes etc. This is also used for bonding PVC tiles, leather etc. Besides these it can also be used for footwear application.
